Rosalie Faithfull: Assistant Producer

DSC06452Rosalie worked in television for five years before completing a Creative Producing Masters degree at Screen Academy Scotland. She has produced and co-produced  eight short films, her first winning the annual JVC award for best student film on her course. She has taught script writing to children in Yorkshire and teenagers in Kenya as well as attending several writing courses herself. She currently works as a freelance script reader and is hoping to move into development in the future.

I wanted to get involved in JUMPCUT because I remember so well what it was like starting out in film making myself. I participated in a similar scheme about ten years ago and appreciated that opportunity and the doors it opened for me. I’m keen to pass on the knowledge that I’ve gained to a younger generation. Also it’s  really inspiring seeing the participants developing their talents and a lot of fun to be in involved in the production!
