Margaret started her career in film and TV, working as a producer’s secretary in the BBC Scotland Drama Department. She went on to work as a Production Assistant and then Script Supervisor, whilst dabbling in the world of script editing. She has worked on productions such as Takin Over The Asylum, starring Ken Stott, and Dreaming, written by William McIlvanney and starring Ewen Bremner. Margaret moved to London, where she worked on BAFTA winning TV film, Hotel du Lac, and highly acclaimed TV drama series, Between the Lines.
On returning to Scotland, Margaret has worked on shows such as Monarch of the Glen, Rebus, and Garrow’s Law. Most recently she has been working on Outlander,an American TV series, which is based in sunny Cumbernauld. Feature films include The Debt Collector, starring Billy Connolly and Filth, starring James McAvoy.
Margaret believes that training is the key to securing professional crews for the future.
