The JUMPCUT 2016 production Misgivings is a trippy comedy drama, exploring self-discovery and mental health. Confused and severely hungover, young Olly Macaw stumbles into a bizarre world where he encounters a foul mouthed parrot and an enigmatic guide. Wanting an escape from life, Olly is offered one, but will he take it? The clock is ticking and he hasn’t got long to decide.

Misgivings won the World Cinema Short Narrative Award at the Marina Del Rey Film Festival in Los Angeles, where it premiered in August 2016. It received its UK premiere at the Scottish Mental Health Arts & Film Festival at the Centre for Contemporary Arts (CCA) in Glasgow in October 2016, and was named runner-up in the Palme-Dewar Short Film Competition at Aberfeldy Film Festival in November 2016.

It is currently being submitted to more film festivals around the world.
