JUMPCUT provides opportunities in the screen industries to young people aged 16-25 living in Scotland. Initiated by Sigma Films and Film City Glasgow, JUMPCUT commends innovative approaches to all aspects of screen production.
It’s vision is to help establish and develop new generations of skilled professionals which will ensure Scotland’s continuing growth and evolution in the screen industries. The enterprise strongly believes that talent is not always found through traditional educational routes, and therefore seeks to engage with young people from all walks of life, who may not feel they usually have access to the means of developing their own creative identity or leadership potential.
A year round programme of activities allows JUMPCUT to offer a range of opportunities whilst identifying uniquely talented individuals. To keep up with our activities, read our blog, and don’t forget to follow us on Twitter and Facebook.
